This section includes two modules, one for the dissemination of relevant documents on different thematic approaches related to the management areas of CAICYT, and the other for the diffusion of the institutional newsletter "El Observador". The documents´ section incorporates reports, presentations and publications generated by the CAICYT and other authors who have worked on issues related to the incumbency of the Centre. For its part, the institutional newsletter is a periodic publication designed to highlight the main developments and activities of CAICYT that are of interest for the community.

 

Among other documents, this section gives access to scientific data reports, for example, based on the Science Citation Index database, as one of the sources that CAICYT usually works with. CAICYT, through the ​​scientific publications area, has been an active collaborator in the translation of the ISSN cataloging manual to its spanish version, wich is also included in this section. This first spanish version of the manual means a contribution of significant importance for all members of the international ISSN countries in the region. Also this section shows other publications of interest and documents presented in events co-organized by the CAICYT, including the Latin American Meeting of Scientific Editors (EIDEC), for 2005 and 2010.
