As part of the many activities that the CAICYT, involved in a sustained process strengthened in recent years of engagement with society, offers to the community continuous education activities are included such as training courses and professional practices in librarianship.

The training courses offered by the CAICYT are related to specific areas of interest linked to the various lines of work of the Centre, having in most cases a graduated level. They are offered through a virtual platform by professionals who do an exhaustive monitoring of the content, prepare material for the lectures, assist students as a tutorial and use excellent academic sources. Several universities have already recognized these courses as equivalent to the fulfillment of seminars and compulsory subjects of its graduation programs, both for majors, masters and doctorates. The main areas of development of these training courses are focused on topics such as: scientific publications (editing, ethics, writing, etc.), library, statistics and social science.
