What is it?

In this group of options, all the initiatives provided by the CAICYT as community services are presented. With a targeted outreach to society as a whole, there have also been introduced activities specifically oriented to the scientific editors of our country. Among these, two are to be highlighted: the Portal of Scientific and Technical Publications and the Scientific Editors Forum, which complement the expertise offered by the Centre in its rol as the National Centre for the Latindex System Collection, National Argentine Center of ISSN, National host of the Regional Sistem SciELO and the conduction of the evaluation of National Scientific Publications that are compound in the Argentine Basic Core of Scientific Journals.

Moreover, the users of the academic, professional, research sphere and different areas of our society, can access the following services: Union Catalogue of Serials, the UICYT Guide, Library, Reprographics, Specialized Reference on scientific publications databases, consulting on the database of the  National Bibliography of Argentine Periodical Publications (BINPAR) and the Indicators produced by the Centre.
