UICyT Guide is the Directory of Information Units, Libraries and Documentation Centres which cooperate with the the CAICYT’s network of catalogues. It is an online database that provides information about the Cooperating Libraries: their location, opening hours, phone numbers and emails, services they offer, the disciplines they cover and their website.

The Union Catalogue of Serials (CCPP) of CAICYT Network articulates with the UICYT Guide wich provides information of the Cooperating Libraries.

 

The Project of the Union Catalogue of Books of CONICET’s Libraries (CCLC), developed along with the SECEDOC from CCT - Mendoza will also link the UICYT Guide. Libraries that belong to CONICET, and already have been  assigned an acronym as CCPP Cooperating Library, will use this code to send their bibliographic catalogs for the CCLC.

Our network is part of Reciaria, cooperating in several projects of information survey.

 

As a permanent activity the CAICYT Network’s Node reports any changes in the data of the Cooperating Libraries, through the UICYT Guide so as to complete the Cultural Map of the Argentine Republic, within the frame of the agreement Reciaria has signed with the National Culture Secretariat from the Presidency of the Nation by Resolution 1452/2009 dated June 2nd, 2009 (Official Gazette June 11th, 2009).

 

We aim the Cooperating Libraries to check their data in our Guide periodically and report any modification by e-mailing the corresponding form in order to keep the UICYT Guide and the Cultural Map of the Argentine Republic updated.
